UPDATE: MY COMPUTER IS BLACKED OUT WITH ALL MY IMPORTANT EVERYTHING STUCK INSIDE! HENCE, NO NICK OF TIM THIS WEEK (sadface). I'M WORKING ON A SHOOT FOR ASKA SO THIS BLOG WILL REMAIN VOID OF THOUGHT FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS (as if it's ever been any different).

Got some game changin news yesterday dudes. Once again, my life is handing me something exciting and I can't wait to get cracking on it. New life begins March 1st.
Meantime, I'm off the grid: the people who made me are visiting me in LA this weekend and we are about to get touristy up in this piece. I love my parents, feel proud to have them. They worked their buns off to make sure I'm happy and successful, and now I'm old enough to feel like all that support and tough love advice actually WORKED.
It's my dad's birthday today, which is sadly also the day my sister passed away. It's our most important family holiday for this reason. We celebrate together to show our gratitude for what we have even though one of us is gone. If you've lost your child, parent, brother or sister you know how it is- you never get over it, ever. But you live with it and you hold onto the people most important to you. Be grateful every day for what you have and if your life sucks you HAVE to change it. And you can! It's a true fact, sir.
If I say much more I'll end up sounding like a refrigerator magnet with an affirmation on it, so instead I'll spare you and just say I hope you're all making the best of things. I love you! Don't forget that you are the tits! You're smart and probably funny if you're here (or maybe you're bored which is fine too), so thanks for coming round guys.
Got dad tickets to the symphony tomorrow to see Vivaldi's Four Seasons (his favorite) and I've planned all sorts of other parent activities that'll give them jazz hands. Nick and Tim will be back on Sunday, but I'm about to get invisible for now. Cumbaya bitches! I love youuuuuuu.
Love,
Aviva

Me and my afro at The Hole c 2002. It was the toast of New York assholes!
Me and Yasi, my first night of Stand Up c 2009. Afro beaten into submission.
